The challenge
A buyer acquiring a wealth management division needed to know what separating it from its parent would take, and then needed the division running as its own business quickly.
Our approach
We ran the carve-out IT due diligence, then set up the integration management office and led every workstream. The division standardized on its own Azure and Microsoft 365 environment, using Microsoft’s Azure FastTrack program, and we implemented NetSuite in five weeks. As interim CIO, we also led the migration of its proprietary software platform.
The outcome
The division was separated from its parent and stood up as its own business in four months.
