taken off the IT budget after a 23-brand carve-out

The challenge

A buyer was carving 23 consumer brands out of a global consumer goods company. Every brand ran on the parent’s SAP and Fusion systems, which were sized for a far larger business.

The new company needed IT of its own, sized for how it would actually operate, and a plan for life after the transition services agreement (TSA) ended.

Our approach

We ran IT due diligence and a synergy analysis across the 23 brands. We then right-sized the ERP and managed the move from SAP and Fusion to Microsoft Business Central.

Alongside the migration, we designed the post-TSA IT model around the new company’s own operating model.

The outcome

Standardizing on Business Central and Microsoft 365 took $18M off the IT budget.

The new company runs on systems sized for its own business, with an IT model built for life after the TSA.
